Sanrio Vending Machine Airbrushes Bam's Face on My Nail

I was out with Kahlil and Bam at the Glendale Galleria the other day and spotted this: an "Art Nail" Machine that can actually print designs and even photos from their built-in camera on your fingernail for $1. There are two polishes designated "Base Coat" and "Top Coat" that are chained to the machine (just in case someone wants to, um, steal the clear nail polish). I knew it would be kind of crappy-looking but the whole mechanism itself was kind of amazing.

First you put the base coat on and let dry a little. Then they ask you to put your finger in a mold and snap the cover closed to lock your fingernail in, with a special opening for your nail bed. Up pops a screen that shows your nail magnified and superimposes a snapshot flick over your nail. Then you can adjust the width, length, and color of the design. The machine starts printing on your nail like a PC printer and you can feel it buffing the design on. Finally, you put a layer of topcoat. Here's the finished product: definitely crapified but successful!

If they tweaked the machine a little, there is definitely potential for some highly-detailed amazing nails of the future!

If Batman were a woman, she'd have this

Bra Dryer is a simple device which is based on the presumption that the best way to dry bras without ruining their fabric, wiring and padding is to dry them on a shape which resembles female breasts. That's why Bra Dryer is shaped like a female torso.

A very gentle infrared (IR) heat source helps evaporate moisture from the bra fabric while silent fans inside the appliance help remove this moisture.

I don't recommend exacting justice...but

A Spanish mother has taken revenge on the man who raped her 13-year-old daughter at knifepoint by dousing him in petrol and setting him alight. He died of his injuries in hospital on Friday.

Antonio Cosme Velasco Soriano, 69, had been sent to jail for nine years in 1998, but was let out on a three-day pass and returned to his home town of Benejúzar, 30 miles south of Alicante, on the Costa Blanca.

While there, he passed his victim's mother in the street and allegedly taunted her about the attack. He is said to have called out "How's your daughter?", before heading into a crowded bar.

Shortly after, the woman walked into the bar, poured a bottle of petrol over Soriano and lit a match. She watched as the flames engulfed him, before walking out.

...I ain't mad at her.

Weekend Update (The Love Hater Edition)

Hey all you gorgeous felines and fellas out there waiting on me to update my damn blog. As most of my followers on Twitter are aware, I just got back from my Bay trip literally 20 minutes ago with a lot of great material you can look forward to.

For all the lovers out there, don't expect to find any Valentine's Celebrations over here at Guerilla Busfare. We may be Gangsters of Love, but we sho don't spend recession $$$ on a silly holiday! The expectation behind it defeats the sentiment, so we spread love (and love hater ideology, *wink) every day of the week.

As you can see from the pictures below, it doesn't take an allocated day to recognize L-O-V-E

Breaking bread with my fam...

Watching Kahlil spend time with his GodMamaz

Getting tatted up (and washing it off!)

And of course, Love wouldn't be Love without these guys.

And be on the lookout for my upcoming Guerilla Busfare TV episode with Zion I next week, just in time for their upcoming album drop, The TakeOver, on Feb. 17th.

Hello Kitty vs Barbie Smackdown

During the fall shows at the upcoming NY Fashion Week, two groups of designers are doing special shows: one, Hello Kitty-themed, to celebrate a collaboration with MAC cosmetics, and another in honor of Barbie's 50th birthday. While we don't know who all the designers are yet, we can't help but wonder what will win out: the Icon or the It Girl? Says the Times: "Barbie is to Cindy Crawford what Hello Kitty is to Naomi Campbell. One is the conscientious workhorse of her oeuvre, with a heart of gold (or plastic) and an improbably perfect body; the other is more difficult to read, with a sinister streak lurking behind that sweet, beautiful facade...

I Lego NY

During the cold and dark Berlin winter days, I spend a lot of time with my boys in their room. And as I look at the toys scattered on the floor, my mind inevitably wanders back to New York. - Christoph Niemann, NY Times

See the rest HERE

Maybe when Kahlil is old enough, I can partake in the Lego homage to my hometown, San Francisco, and it will make me less homesick as well :)
